Cooroy

Known as the business centre for the Noosa Hinterland and the surrounding townships, Cooroy has a history dating back to the mid to late 1800’s when it’s main industry was Timber mills, dairying and fruit production. It’s main street and buildings offer an insight into the past and it’s now a bustling village with businesses, restaurants, cafes and a range of boutique shops.

With a Library, Art Gallery which was the original Butter Factory, a Golf Club, a Bowls Club, RSL club and sub branch, and a range of accommodation options. Noosa Botanical Gardens is situated on Lake Macdonald just outside the town and several of the Noosa Trails are accessible in Cooroy.

There are plenty of medical, dental and remedial therapy services in Cooroy along with a Eden Private Hospital (Rehabilitation Hospital).

Its an easy drive to Noosa and it makes a wonderful spot to live, just far enough out to miss the busy traffic, yet close enough to utilise the beautiful beaches and amenities of Noosa.
