Boreen Point, Elandra Point and undulating scenic hillside of Cootharaba.  The township of Boreen Point sits on the great Lake Cootharaba. If it’s sailing, canoeing, fishing or camping, there’s plenty to do here.  The Lake is popular to many families and motor less water vessels. You can enjoy a meal at the historical Apollonian Hotel whilst the local musicians entertain you on a relaxing Sunday afternoon.

Follow the road a little further along and you will be at Elandra Point.  This magical part of the world is a bush lover’s paradise with several walking trails connecting you to the Wetlands Information centre. You can visit the Noosa Wetlands via canoe or on foot and tours can guided tours can be booked or if you can explore yourself.

Elandra point is also home to The Habitat Noosa everglades eco-camp offers overnight accommodation and glamping.  With all the outdoor water activities and plenty of bushwalking tracks to explore.  A world class eco system supporting many different species of local birdlife, marine and wildlife in abundance and within an arm’s reach of you.  Pack your van or just stay in one of the of the en-suited glamping tents.

Make sure you call in for a finely crafted beer from their on-site micro-brewery found at the Coothara Bar.
